13-year old girl, lone survivor in Yemen plane crash
Yesterday I reported that a toddler was the only survivor. It turns out this toddler was actually a 13-year old girl. What an amazing story this is as this brave girl held on to plane wreckage until she was found 13 hours later. How traumatic it must have been for her, but she made it through. She is a true survivor.

Nuggets J.R. Smith sentenced to 3 months in jail
Denver Nuggets guard J.R. Smith was sentenced to 3 moths in jail today for his part in the death of his 21 year old friend. Smith drove through a stop sign while traveling 60 mph in a 30 mph zone. Both he and his friend were ejected from the SUV. Smith suffered an injury to his left shoulder. Two other passengers seated in the back of the vehicle only suffered minor injuries. Smith's past history of negligent driving made it difficult to avoid jail time. He will likely only serve 1 month of the 3 month sentence in addition to community service.

Baby delivered in deadly storm
Can you imagine being born in the worst possible weather conditions. I doubt anyone can remember their birth but this one is hard to forget. In 90 mph winds, trees and light poles falling to the ground, a mother and her two toddlers sitting in the back seat of her car at a gas station were assisted by a very brave woman help her deliver the baby. I guess the father stood by and made sure the car didn't blow away

Vince arrives, Hedo bolts
Today we have a true Up vs. Down match-up. The Magic have acquired the amazing Vince Carter, but they've also lost a great player in Hedo Turkoglu. In addition to the loss of Turkoglu, Rafer Alston, Courtney Lee, and Tony Battie had to be sacrificed for Carter. I don't know about this one folks. Looks to me like the Magic are trying to do too much. They had a solid team already and were only a few plays away from winning the Championship this year. Now, they may have taken a step forward with Vince but they had to take 4 steps 2 or 3 steps back to do so.
North Korean Wipeout??
Boy, I think I've heard it all, lol. Now apparently, North Korea wants to wipe us out. Give me a break man. Can't we all just get along. Obama hasn't been in office for one year and we've already got this idiot coming at our necks. But have you seen this guy?? He looks like the kid who got wedgies and dunked in toilet bowls all his life. Be careful who you mistreat folks, they might just be President some day. Wow, that's a scary thought, lol.
Boy Cheats Death
Now this is a great story. Watch as this kid tough kid takes a hit, from a car, and walks away unscathed. In fact his parents didn't find out until the following day what exactly happened. This kid a nice story to tell to the ladies when he grows up, haha.
